I only had the black screen problem and followed the steps from their FAQ. Closed the launcher, set the PGR.exe to run at Win8 compatibility mode using admin permit. And it worked fine afterwards. Can't tell about the checking files issue, it's also mentioned in their FAQ. Hope you can get your PC-client running soon!

Yeah its broken for me too. I have this issue and i figured out a simple workaround (using mouse driver) : So for example if you set mouse2 to trigger "V" on macro software/mouse driver then you would go ingame and bind attack to "V". Cons : can't use mouse2 as "mouse2" anymore but who needs it in pgr.Open the game launcher. Start up task manager, go to the details tab on the task manager, right click KRInstall_haru.exe . Click on Set Affinity, leave only CPU 0 (Node 0) and CPU 0 (Node 1) checked, then press OK. Now go back to the launcher and click on Enter and hope that the game loads normally.
