Since this is still SFM, you will probably need to input down collective to prevent lift off. A reasonable ground taxi speed is like 10 kph, for good turning control. I asked a similar question ages ago & the reply I got was a chap had built a mission where you (the player) are the gunner. You also control the AI pilot & he flies just as you order him.
